Arrival - Glasgow to Helensburgh

I've been awake for about 30 hours now.  Sleeping on a plane has never been easy, and now it's darn near impossible due to lack of leg room.  If the person in front of you reclines, they're practically in your lap, making the little screen on the back of their head rest THAT MUCH CLOSER (I was watching "Spotlight" and could almost count Michael Keaton's nose hairs).  Oh, and forget about retrieving something that was dropped - you simply cannot bend over far enough.

Anyway!  Flight was uneventful.  Arrived in Glasgow, sailed through customs in less than 5 minutes, then caught the bus to Queen Street rail station.  Then came a 45 minute ride to Helensburgh.

I'm currently lounging on my bed in the Eastbank B&B.  Nice location - spitting distance from the River Clyde.  After dumping my large duffle, I took a walk in the fresh air and sunshine, and figured out where my starting point is for tomorrow.  It's about a 10 minute leisurely walk.  My breakfast choices have been arranged with the proprietor, and I picked up provisions for tomorrow's lunch while out exploring.

Daypack is nearly ready to go, and other baggage has been shifted and organized.  I'm going to try to stay awake until 7 or 8 tonight, but I'm making no promises.  :-P
