It's the last few full days I have prior to the trip to both pack and get my house presentable for the catsitter and the nerves are setting in (in a good way). Everything that needs to be bought has been. The pile of to-be-packed stuff in the staging area/guest room is growing. Tickets and itineraries and lists have been printed. Mail has been stopped. Credit union contacted. Netbook updated with favorite websites. Feeling better about my physical preparation now, after several consecutive weekends of long hikes. Got my footcare standard operating procedure settled. Leo and Charlie are ready to go, and my West Highland Way bragging rights patch has been sewn onto my daypack. Actual packing will begin in earnest this evening. *FLAILS*
